Black Tea
Long known for its antioxidants, immune boosting and, most recently, anti-hypertensive properties, black tea may also be used to control diabetes. While black tea's flavor lasts for several years, it is also generally stronger and contains more caffeine than the less oxidized teas. -
Green Tea
The secret of green tea is epigallocatechin gallate or EGCG, a catechin polyphenols. It is a powerful anti-oxidant, which hinders the growth of cancer cells; it kills cancer cells without harming healthy tissue. It has also been effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels, and inhibiting the abnormal formation of blood clots. -
Herbal
A herbal tea, tisane, or ptisan is a herbal infusion made from anything other than the leaves of the tea bush. Herbal teas are often consumed for their physical or medicinal effects, especially for their stimulant, relaxant or sedative properties. -
Oolong Tea
Oolong is a traditional Chinese tea which has an oxidation range between 10% to 70%. It is among the most popular types of teas served in typical Chinese restaurants. Oolong tea is also traditionally described to have anti-obesity and hypolipidemic effects. -
White Tea
White tea is the least processed form of tea, made of beautiful silver buds and select leaves which have been steamed and dried. Because of its minimal processing, white tea contains more nutrients than its black or green cousins, making it the mightiest of the teas, the ultimate Health Tea.
